WaiverSharks.com is a 100% FREE Fantasy Sports website that was created to assist both casual, as well as die-hard Fantasy Sports enthusiasts, in making knowledgeable waiver wire pick-ups.

While other sites concentrate heavily on the star players of today, like Albert Pujols, Johan Santana, or Prince Fielder, we tend to focus more of our energies and resources on the star players of tomorrow, like…well…you’ll just have to take a peek at the featured articles within THE CAGE to see!

A true Waiver Shark understands that the Fantasy Sports player has advanced throughout the years, and the competition has certainly stiffened! The time required to ‘cruise the waiver wire’ may not always be there during the entire 162 game Fantasy Baseball season. Your busy lifestyle might make it nearly impossible to keep up with the fast paced, ever-changing demands of this popular fantasy pastime.

This is where WaiverSharks can help! WaiverSharks.com can lend you a hand, and help to eliminate Fantasy Sports guessing.  We do so in a fun Shark-Tiered fashion, with our constantly updated and local mainstay: THE CAGE.

It’s within THE CAGE that visitors will find weekly suggestions of which players they need to give thought to grabbing off of the consummate waiver wire, and which players they need to consider cutting loose. THE CAGE features 9 levels of players (Sharks), with varying degrees of availability, as well as perceptual value in regular head-to-head twelve player fantasy leagues, with regular default settings.

Players are updated frequently, and can move between tiers, as we see fit. Eventually they may gain the status of the ultimate Waiver Sharks Hall of Fame label, known as Megalodons, whereby they are no longer considered to be available on the majority of Fantasy League waiver wires. The previous tiers leading up to the Megalodons are as follows:

• Great Whites - Shouldn’t be on your waiver wire!
• Bull Sharks - Excellent Pick-ups!
• Hammerheads - Solid Pick-ups!
• Tiger Sharks - Tremendous upside Pick-ups!
• Mako Sharks - Sleepers!

• Baby Sharks - Top Minor League Prospects
