I hope you enjoy the spin we intend to put on what should be an exciting summer of Fantasy Baseball during the upcoming 2008 season.
I guess what everyone who first discovers WaiverSharks.com may wonder is:
What the heck is a WAIVERSHARK?
Well, this one’s simple.
Once a Fantasy Sports Draft is completed, and the season begins, changes will inevitably take place; on almost a daily basis.
After all, no one ever kept the same team they drafted ALL season, right?
(Cue David Bowie) ChhhChhhChanges are the nature of the beast in today’s high octane professional sports world. And a Waiver Shark is a Fantasy manager/player who elects to embrace these changes by snapping up players off of his/her leagues waiver wire whenever an emerging player becomes available that is presumably better than the existing player he currently rosters. Got that?
For now, WaiverSharks.com will focus on Fantasy Baseball.
We chose MLB because the season is the Fantasy player’s equivalent to running a Marathon , so it’s here where Fantasy players need the most help.
Our key focus area of information will be held within THE CAGE!
Each week within THE CAGE WaiverSharks.com will update you with the latest add/drop trends Fantasy Baseball has to offer!
We currently have over 100 players listed and ranked by different species of Sharks!

Throughout the season we will also have suggestions as to who you may want to cut ties with, and what injured players you’ll need to be weary of. As well as a Waiver Wire Pick-Up of the Week video hosted by our ‘Sans Skin Man’ - BONES!
Last, We will honor the BEST player recommendations of the month with our Hall of Fantasy Fame Award—the coveted Megalodon of the Month!
And, if you act now, we’ll even throw in a Jade Elephant!
