The Diamondbacks are on fire and WaiverSharks has developed a serious “Man Crush” on Conor Jackson for this season and here’s why:
In addition to the steadily improving righty hitting the cover off the ball to start 2008 - he’s doing so while batting clean up for the rising machine that is the Arizona Diamondbacks!
The former Yakima Bear displays a keen eye at the plate, and although he isn’t likely to maintain an OBP of .470 - opposing outfielders should be chasing down plenty of “Action Jackson’s” extra base hits in the friendly confines of the D-backs Chase field.
Still only 25 he appears positioned for a potential breakout year with 100 RBI’s not out of the question batting in the 4 spot for the talented baby snakes.
A quick personal note: His father is an actor best known for his portrayal of Adm. Albert Jethro ‘A.J.’ Chegwidden on the television Emmy award winning series Jag.
And yes ladies – “Co-jack” is single!
