Elvis Bobbleheads will leave the building on April 24th, 2010!
The Texas Rangershave announced their 2010 promotional schedule, and it includes only one bobblehead – but it is an absolutely fantastic bobblehead!
A bobble depicting King Elvis Andrus! – who incidentally, I still feel was more deserving of the A.L. ROY award in 2009 than Andrew Bailey. Sorry A’s fans, but personally I feel that playing steady defense for nine innings or more at shortstop (many nights in the Arlington heat!) while still maintaining a decent bat, & stealing bases - to me – That trumps solid relief pitching in a pitchers park!
Oh well, the Texas Rangers Elvis may not have won the coveted American League Rookie of the Year Award - but at least he’ll have his own bobblehead in 2010. The first 20,000 fans through the gates of Rangers Ballpark will receive an Elvis Doll when the hometeam plays host to Jose Valverde and the Detroit Tigers.
