Now, this is one Bobblehead Daze has been waiting for!
Awesome and truly unique Bobblehead Nights are hardly new to the San Francisco Giants baseball team! As you can see from the Manny Pacquiao Bobblehead pictured above – 2009 is no exception!
Last season (2008) a Crazy Crab bobblehead brought a little nostalgia to the Bay area.
The year prior it was the Rally Rabbi Bobblehead (2007) leading the way on Jewish Heritage night.
The Giants even held a special SGA of an old Charles Shultz favorite – Good ol’ Charlie Brown was given out to the first 10,000 kids, 14 & younger back on Sunday, May 28th 2005.
This season, a limited edition Manny Pacquiao Bobblehead is just part of San Francisco Giants Flilpino Heritage Night, which is being recognized at AT&T Park on Tuesday April 21, 2009.
Not only are the Boxing Manny Pacquiao Bobbleheads being given out – but Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao - who has also been referred to as The Mexi-cutioner, The Mexican Assassin (Which we are told he’s not very fond of), and The People's Champion , will be on hand to throw out the first pitch as the San Francisco Giants baseball team plays host to the San Diego Padres.
Note: A quick check over on eBay today – I found all 4 of these Bobbleheads are available – the Charlie Brown Bobble is fetching close to $200!
If you want a Manny Pacquiao Bobblehead Doll as bad as I do, you’ll get in on one as soon as possible – before the demand inevitably hikes bidding prices.
