The Cincinnati Reds can’t be too pleased with the setback Edinson Volquez recently had in his rehab, as it looks like the right handed Reds starting pitcher will be on the DL past the All-Star Break. A consolation…and a pretty small one (about 7 inches high) is Edinson Volquez was the winner of the 2009 Reds Fans Vote Bobblehead that will be given out July 18th, 2009 to the first 30,000 fans thru the gates of Great American Ballpark.

We think the likeness is pretty good, but just wish they would have adorned a thick gold chain on this Voltron Bobble!

With Bobblehead season in full swing Bobblehead Daze in its glory with literally hundreds of new cool SGA 2009 bobbleheads already come and gone it may be time to click on a few over on eBay to add to your collection if you couldn’t get out to a promotion of one of your fan favorites.

The Class “A” Minor League team of the Philadelphia Phillies, the Lakewood BlueClaws recently gave out a American Red Cross sponsored Charlie Manuel SGA Bobblehead!

This Charlie Manuel 2008 World Series Champion Phillies Bobblehead was given out to only 2,000 fans in attendance at the June 15th, 2009 baseball game in Lakewood , New Jersey - Home of The Lakewood BlueClaws. We almost prefer this Bobblehead to the Philadelphia Phillies Charlie Manuel Bobble that was given out on April 28th/2009 at Citizens Bank due to the limited number of units made of the Lakewood BlueClaws MiLB SGA.
