The San Francisco Giants have added “The Unit” to their 2009 bobblehead lineup!

Randy Johnson BobbleheadOriginally it was thought that a commentator Jon Miller bobblehead was to be the last SGA of the season for the Giants, but added to the August 30th 2009 game is this Randy Johnson Bobblehead. Showing Randy Johnson mid wind up on the mound, this is sure to be a popular giveaway as the hard throwing lefty’s career begins to wind down.

The first 20,000 fans through the gates of AT&T Park will be presented this Chevron ExtraMile Stores promo, when the San Francisco Giants treat the Colorado Rockies to some home town hitting.

We would have liked to have seen a Pablo Sandoval Bobblehead, (*Hint for 2010) but until then, we’ll gladly take the bonus bobble of the future Hall of Fame inductee, and hope he is off the DL (shoulder strain) when Randy Johnson Bobbleheadday rolls around towards the end of August 2009.

It looks like the Washington Nationals 2009 are going with something new & something old for their 2009 SGA bobblehead lineup!

Adam Dunn Bobblehead

Adam Dunn Bobblehead Day

August 8th VS the Arizona Diamondbacks

Frank Howard Bobblehead

Frank Howard Bobblehead Day

August 22nd VS the Milwaukee Brewers

Both of the MLB Washington Nationals stadium giveaway bobbles presented by PNC Bank will be awarded to the first 15,000 fans through the gates of Nationals Ballpark.

You’ll want to collect both bobbles if possible. When the 2009 Nationals bobbleheadsare set next to one another the units spell out “ Nats Town ” at the back of the base.

It’s a classy move for the current Nationals to honor the former Washington Senator. We’re sure the Frank “Hondo” Howard, aka “The Capital Punisher” bobbleheadwill be a popular promotion for the Nats in 2009!
