Adam Jones Bobbleheads on eBay

The Baltimore Orioles biggest bobblehead day of the year is upon us!

Adam Jones breakout 2009 campaign coincides with his first Orioles SGA Bobbleheadgiveaway. This unique bobble shows the Baltimore Orioles centerfielder making a flyball catch near the base of the 410 foot mark of Oriole Park/Camden Yards. The Adam Jones Bobbleheadis also depicted blowing a big bubblegum bubble.

Incidentally, the Minnesota Twins did a similar bobblehead with a bubblegum blowing Doug Mientkiewicz (one of my least favorite ballplayer names to spell of all time by the way) back in 2002. The first 25,000 fans will receive an Adam Jones Bobbleheadwhen the Orioles play host to the visiting interleague play New York Mets. Should be a fun game to attend on it’s own merit – but the Adam Jones SGAmakes it even sweeter!

The Baltimore Ravens have the city firmly gazed on the NFL as they continue their quest to appear in the 2009 Super Bowl down in Tampa Bay Florida on February 1st! Bobblehead Daze – which is currently waiversharks.com's second highest regular blog post feature, wanted to interrupt Baltimore sports fans to mention some cool baseball information.

The Baltimore Orioles have just announced their 2009 MLB promotional schedule.

Dates are subject to change and more giveaways could be added, but the Orioles have confirmed via their MLB website – they intend to distribute an Adam Jones Bobblehead Day Stadium Giveaway (SGA) to the first 20,000 fans (15 and over) in attendance at beautiful Orioles Park at Camden Yards when the O’s face off in a summer Inter-league game VS the New York Mets on Wednesday June 17th 2009.

No, this is the Adam Jones who is a proto-typical 5X5 tools 2009 fantasy sleeper - who has been compared to the likes of a young Los Angeles of Anaheim Angels Torii Hunter and the Milwaukee Brewers Mike Cameron.

The Orioles traded the Adam Jones SGA bobblehead night recipient last offseason to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for Canadian starting pitcher, and 2008 Fantasy Bust - Erik Bedard.

Heading into the 2009 MLB season, Jones fantasy owners are hopeful the Orioles speedy center fielder will dabble close to a .300 batting average - and he carries enough upside to easily generate a 20HR/20SB campaign.
