Next up on the Major League Baseball Bobblehead Day schedule is the Houston Astros Lance Berkman. The Astros big first basemen formerly carried the nickname Fat Elvis – but #17 more frequently seems to be referred to using the “BIG PUMA” moniker.

Sponsored by Citgo this cool Berkman Bobble doll, complete with a big cat paw in his right hand, will be given out to the first 10,000 fans attending the Houston Astros game on April 17th 2009 when the ‘Stros’ play host to the Cincinnati Reds.

Well…good times do indeed lay ahead at Minute Maid Park for Houston Astros bobblehead fans this coming season as the franchise will be offering up Five Stadium Giveaway (SGA) Bobble Head Dolls during the 2009 campaign.

So, if any of ya’ll plan on ridin’ on through Texas this year to take in a ball game or two – tell Junction Jack Bobblehead Daze says “Howdy Partner!”
