The Volquez Bobblehead looks Like This! What? No Thick Gold Chain?

Edinson Volquez Bobblehead

Edinson Volquez SGA Bobblehead available now, as a Presale on eBay!

Edinson Volquez Bobblehead on eBayThe Cincinnati Reds can’t be too pleased with the setback Edinson Volquez recently had in his rehab, as it looks like the right handed Reds starting pitcher will be on the DL past the All-Star Break. A consolation…and a pretty small one (about 7 inches high) is Edinson Volquez was the winner of the 2009 Reds Fans Vote Bobblehead that will be given out July 18th, 2009 to the first 30,000 fans thru the gates of Great American Ballpark.

We think the likeness is pretty good, but just wish they would have adorned a thick gold chain on this Voltron Bobble!

FIND Rick Leach Bobblehead on eBay

Wow! This Rare Rick Leach Bobblehead is pretty cool! Neat idea with the Wolverines helmet!

Rick Leach Bobblehead

I was a BIG TIME Tigers fan growing up in the 80’s, when Rick Leach somewhat surprisingly opted out of a football career to play for the Detroit Tigers. This Bobblehead is obviously very unique with the U of M football helmet, and with only 1000 SGA bobbles given out at the West Michigan WhiteCaps game on June 12th, I expect the Wendy’s sponsored Rick Leach bobbleheads will fetch a pretty good buck on eBay auctions!

Adam Jones Bobbleheads on eBay

The Baltimore Orioles biggest bobblehead day of the year is upon us!

Adam Jones breakout 2009 campaign coincides with his first Orioles SGA Bobbleheadgiveaway. This unique bobble shows the Baltimore Orioles centerfielder making a flyball catch near the base of the 410 foot mark of Oriole Park/Camden Yards. The Adam Jones Bobbleheadis also depicted blowing a big bubblegum bubble.

Incidentally, the Minnesota Twins did a similar bobblehead with a bubblegum blowing Doug Mientkiewicz (one of my least favorite ballplayer names to spell of all time by the way) back in 2002. The first 25,000 fans will receive an Adam Jones Bobbleheadwhen the Orioles play host to the visiting interleague play New York Mets. Should be a fun game to attend on it’s own merit – but the Adam Jones SGAmakes it even sweeter!
