Recently, I did the unthinkable. I ran out of beer.

As Trevor from the Trailer Park Boys might have quipped,

“Not Cool.”

I usually keep a few James Ready 5.5’s out in the garage fridge.  But after tapping out of even those, my buddy Ryan & I were left with little choice.

Deep in the house fridge, in behind the Miracle Whip, the V8 Juice and even the Arm & Hammer, lied a beer not intended for regular consumption.

Yep. Imagine drinking a beer that tasted closer to pumpkin pie than beer ever should! I’m sure to some, this offers the best of both worlds. Have a lovely cocktail, and dessert all rolled into one! It actually had a slight spicy taste too.

But as this picture would suggest, it wasn’t a big hit with my guest.

Next time I’ll be ready with some trusty James Ready 5.5’s, or heck maybe even some O.V. buddy! You bring dessert – BUT preferably not in a sixer!
