Last night the Red Sox extended their winning streak to 5 games behind the arm of Tim Wakefield. Waker threw a gem! Tossing 98 pitches, through 8 solid innings, he only managed to give up 2 hits. It was his best start of the season, as he looked absolutely flawless out there. Let’s hope he can bring that same stuff this Sunday when he faces off against the Twins. Great job Waker!
Today, the Red Sox will look to continue their winning ways against the Tigers as they send rookie sensation Clay Buchholz to the mound for game 3 of this 4 game set. He will be in tough however, as he is up against another rookie who has been the Tigers best starter to date; Armando Galarraga. Come on Clay, make it 6 in a row!
