Or old women, or young children either.

Turns out - we didn’t have much luck at all locating a Major, or a Minor league baseball team that serves up stuffed peppers during their games.

How Sad.

We think some owners need to rethink this one!

Sure Boog’s BBQ at Baltimore ’s Camden Yards can’t be beat – but surely a minor league club could offer up these tasty delicacies, and earn a little added concessions revenue!

After all, they would apparently be monopolizing a niche market, and could therefore advertise…

“THE ONLY BALLGAME IN AMERICA WHERE YOU

CAN GET STUFFED ON STUFFED PEPPERS!”

The closest we discovered was that the Camden Riversharks (of all teams) do actually offer stuffed peppers as part of one of their Executive Suite dinner packages.

Camden River Sharks mascot “Finley” looks like he’s in favor of our stuffed peppers served at a ballpark idea!

Ironically, when one enters the keyword “waiversharks” on google they are prompted with “Did you mean: riversharks?”

We, politely – using our inner monologue simply think…Ummm…No, Mr. Google - We actually can spell (Sometimes)

And we meant:

“WAIVERSHARKS!”

Anyways - until proven otherwise, the Riversharks, who are a professional baseball team based in Camden New Jersey, are the only place on earth that one can go see a baseball game, as well as consume a stuffed pepper. (Albeit, only in the executive suites)

It should be noted that the Riversharks are not affiliated with Major League Baseball. They play their home games at Campbell ’s Field which offers a wonderful view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the Philadelphia skyline. (Shown below)

Stuffed PeppersMy wife Chantelle makes the best stuffed peppers in the world. What can I say – I love them so much I even took a few photographs of a recent blue ribbon batch!

When my mom & dad brought us over some fresh green peppers picked from their garden last week - I pleaded with her to utilize a few to make my favorite dish –

Mmmm…I thought I’d died and gone to heaven!

What I am wondering is:

With the growing trend to serve up alternative’s to the good old fashioned ball park frank - Has anyone EVER heard of, or had these luscious dinner delights at a ballpark?

If you have, (including any minor league parks) could you please send me an email to: scott@waiversharks.com.
